You will also be able to visit the forms section to register for the PTO, purchase spirit lunch, request a PTO check reimbursement or buy a family brick to place in our school entryway.

Order your Custom 8th Grade Graduation Sign!

8th Grade Parents, each student received a graduation sign that was placed in your yard this past week!

** Please do not discard this sign. It will be picked up the week of June 1st.**

This year, we have the option to also order a custom sign for your student. The signs will be delivered to your door in approximately two weeks.

Calling 8th Grade Parents: Hinsdale Central New Parent Welcome Event - Thursday, May 7

The Hinsdale Central PTO is excited to invite all families whose student will enter their freshman year in 2026 to The 8th Grade Welcome.

🕕 Doors open 8:30am
📍 Hinsdale Central 

The 8th Grade Welcome introduces Principal Bill Walsh and other key faculty. The PTO, Boosters, and the Music Booster will give a brief overview. Information on HC activities, music, and athletics will be available.

PTO registration is discounted to $65. 

Spiritwear is available for purchase. 

Principal Walsh will discuss the importance of what it means to "Bring Your Fire".

🍕 Nominate a CHMS Teacher For Free Pizza For A Year!

Lou Malnati's Pizza is inviting students, parents, and administrators to nominate a teacher who has made a positive impact in their lives.

Nominations are open NOW through May 10, 2026.

Awards include:

  • 1 Top Winner will get Pizza for their School ($2500 value) plus Free pizza for a Year for the teacher!

📚 Spring Book Fair - Volunteers Needed!

We are excited to bring the Anderson Book Fair back to CHMS for a second time this year!

The book fair will be open to students Monday, May 11th - Thursday, May 14th during the school day.

Additionally, the book fair will be open to parents during the orchestra concert on Wednesday evening, May 13th.

Save the Date for our final CHMS Dinner Bell of the school year! 

🗓️ Monday, May 11th - Wednesday, May 13th
📍 Denucci's in Hinsdale (8 East First Street)! 

Make a reservation for dinner and mention CHMS upon bill payment.

DeNucci's will donate 10% of CHMS sales for all three days back to our school! This is a great opportunity to host book clubs, meetings or a special family dinner while supporting CHMS!

Please see the information below about next year's school supplies, PE uniforms and heart rate monitors, and more!

  • REGISTER for the PTO and pay your dues - These dues help cover our operating costs, and ensure you receive our weekly emails with all kinds of important information. If you have any questions please reach out to corrine.natarelli@gmail.com.

  • SCHOOL SUPPLIES - Order ALL your school supplies to be delivered to your house, bulk order items (paper towels, wipes, tissues, etc.) will be shipped directly to CHMS. It saves time and money, and is a small fundraiser for the PTO. Use the School Code CLA217. Be sure to purchase before May 31 as prices increase by $10 until the sale closing date of June 21.   • PE UNIFORM - Order your student's PE Uniform:  At a minimum, students will need at least a Tshirt & Shorts. Orders placed before August 7th will be available for pickup at CHMS Back to School Day. Orders placed from Aug 8 - 16 will be shipped to the school for pick up on the first day of school. Orders placed after that date will be shipped to your home.

  • HEART RATE STRAPS - Students will use heart rate monitors in PE class and need their own.
