Manna Program



PURPOSE:  To give CHMS students an opportunity to earn monies to help fund their 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. The cost of the trip varies but in past years has been $1,300 – $1,400.

HOW DOES IT WORK:  Manna offers about 300 local and national Gift Cards and Ecards. A complete listing of vendors and percentages are available at For EACH purchase, a percentage determined by the vendor (2–30%) will be deposited into your child’s CHMS PTO Manna account. These accounts will be monitored and maintained by the CHMS PTO, and will be paid directly to the Washington D. C. travel group prior to your child’s trip up to the total cost of the trip. Any amount in excess of the total cost of the trip will be donated to the CHMS Angel Fund to support families in need.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:  The CHMS PTO Manna Program is offered to ALL CHMS STUDENTS! 6th grade students will have 3 years to accumulate monies to be used to help fund their Washington D.C. trip.

HOW DO I GET STARTED:  Follow these three EASY steps:

  • Step 1: Manna Program Enrollment
    Complete the ONLINE ENROLLMENT FORM. The CHMS PTO Manna Coordinator will then set up your account and provide via email the Organization ID, your Participant ID and Participant Password. If you are already enrolled from a previous year, you do not need to enroll again. Your Participant ID and Participant Password are still valid.
  • Step 2: Manna Pay Verification
    Before you can begin ordering, you must be set up to use MannaPay. This will allow payment directly from your bank account at no charge. If you are a NEW PARTICIPANT or an existing participant that was not set up for MannaPay, there is a one-time account verification process that must be completed. When you login to you will see the link for the verification process in bright yellow. This process takes about 2-3 days. You will be notified directly from Manna when your account has been verified.
  • Step 3: Ordering
    Once you complete steps 1 and 2, you can order anytime. However, your orders must be complete and paid for (with MannaPay) by the end of a campaign period in order to pick up your cards at the subsequent pickup date. Visit to start ordering. Please note: Funds are deducted from your account when your order is placed, not when the campaign is over.

CAMPAIGN PERIODS: The first 2 Campaigns are BEFORE the Holiday Gift Giving Season! Gift Cards are ALWAYS the right color and size and have no expiration date or fees (except for the Visa card). Gift Cards can be redeemed in stores nationwide or online. Gift Cards can be used for everyday purchases such as groceries or gas. Remember for EVERY Gift Card purchased, your child will receive monies into their own CHMS PTO Manna account to help fund their Washington D.C. Trip!
